It looks like Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to tie the knot at a destination wedding on 11-12 May in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to a report in Mirror, the couple is planning a two-day intimate affair in Switzerland. Sonam’s father, Anil Kapoor has taken the responsibility of personally inviting guests after deciding upon the date and venue. Sonam would be having sangeet and mehendi ceremony, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding.
Early reports suggested that the couple would tie the knot in either Udaipur or Jaipur, but after Sonam and Anand visited Geneva recently, they locked their wedding venue.
According to Mirror, Sonam and Anand are also expected to host an engagement ceremony in the company of close family and friends soon.
Sonam, who is a brand ambassador for a luxury Swiss watch manufacturer, decided upon the “perfect” wedding venue after visiting Geneva, ending their three month long search.
And quite obviously, many designers are hoping to dress the fashionista as she walks down the aisle, but according to reports, Sonam has decided to go with ‘family favourites’, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Sonam and Anand made their relationship public on Instagram in December 2016 and continue to share moments together with their own personal hashtag, “Everyday Phenomenal”.
