After Zero, Shah Rukh Khan has taken a break from films. Ahead of his birthday, rumours were floating that he would announce his next film with Tamil director Atlee. However, according to a report by Pinkvilla, SRK has collaborated with Rajkumar Hirani and he will start shooting for the film from April next year.

“Shah Rukh Khan has been approached by three directors, Atlee, Rajkumar Hirani and Ali Abbas Zafar. He loved all the scripts and will be working on them. However, Hirani has already locked Shah Rukh’s dates and the shooting will start from April 2020,” a source told the website.

Shah Rukh has recently shot for a cameo for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Brahmastra. “Shah Rukh Khan’s character is VFX-driven. Shooting against a green screen is something that most actors find difficult to adapt, but having worked in films like Ra One, Fan and Zero, SRK breezed through it. He joined the crew after his birthday and shot for three days. Some more days are left,” a source had told Mumbai Mirror.
