The 11-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi finally concluded on 12 September. Most of the Bollywood celebrities welcomed Ganpati Bappa in their homes and made the celebration a grand affair. While quite a few of them immersed their idols on the second day, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to share photos of him and his family bidding adieu to Ganesha on Thursday.
“Pooja done....Visarjan done. Ganpati Bappa Morya!! May the happiness of the world and beyond come into every household & for every family,” SRK wrote.
In one of the photos, we can see AbRam seeking blessings from the idol they had at their house. The other pictures feature aarti thali and banana leaves placed near the idol.
Last year too, the actor had shared a photo of AbRam on Ganesh Chaturthi, sitting in front of the idol.
Vivek Oberoi had also celebrated Ganpati Visarjan with his family last Friday. Dressed in a bright yellow kurta, the actor had a little ceremony after which he and his father Suresh Oberoi, bid goodbye to Ganpati Bappa.
Even Jitendra and his family also celebrated Ganpati Visarjan on the same day.
