On Monday, Sanjay Dutt put to rest rumours about him contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He took to Twitter to express his support for his sister Priya Dutt. He ended with an encouraging note by asking people to come out in “maximum numbers and cast their vote for our nation”.
“The rumor about me contesting for the Loksabha elections is not true. I stand with my country and in full support for my sister @PriyaDutt_INC. I urge everyone to come out in maximum numbers and cast their vote for our nation!”, he wrote on Twitter.
Recently, reports claiming that the Kalank actor would be contesting elections from Ghaziabad had surfaced. However, the same have been dismissed by the actor. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in an upcoming period drama Kalank releasing on 19 April. He will be sharing the screen with Madhuri Dixit after 22 years.
