Actor Sameera Reddy is breaking all stereotypes. She recently took to Instagram to share her latest achievement - climbing the highest peak of Karnataka. But here’s the twist. She didn’t do it alone. Instead, she took along her daughter Nyra!
“Attempted climbing to Mullayanagiri Peak with Nyra strapped on!” wrote Reddy on Instagram as she shared a video from the climb. In the video Reddy talks about the experience. She says, “There are 500 steps to the peak and I got this 5 kgs extra with me so I am not going anywhere.”
In the caption, she further talks about how it’s easy to feel down after giving birth but she’s determined to fight the feeling and continue sharing travel stories with her followers. She also added a piece of advice for other moms who might be interested in the same.
She wrote, “I stopped midway cos I was so out of breath ! 6300 ft high it’s the tallest Peak in Karnataka! So many messages from New moms saying they are inspired to travel & I’m thrilled my travel stories are getting such a positive response! It’s very easy to feel low post baby & I’m super determined to not let it get me down! 🏃♀️ for moms asking I did not express I just fed her on demand everywhere! Less fuss and easy to travel this way !”

In July, Reddy had taken to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter. She shared a photo of her holding her little hand. “Our little angel came this morning. My baby girl ! Thank you for all the love and blessings #blessed” she wrote.
She is also mom to a four-year-old boy named Hans.
