Bollywood’s favourite couple - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone - spent their Valentines Day showing support for Deepika’s father and Badminton legend, Prakash Padukone, who was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Sportstar Aces Awards on Thursday, 14 February.
The same event awarded India skipper Virat Kohli and pacer Jasprit Bumrah as joint winners in the Sportsman of the Year (Cricket) category, PTI reported.
While Deepika donned a backless orange gown, Ranveer carried off a pinstripe blue suit. The couple were seen cheering on Prakash Padukone, as he was presented his award and along with Deepika’s mother - Ujjala - they were even asked to come on stage.
Ranveer had spent the rest of the day in Gully Boy promotions with co-star Alia Bhatt. The movie released on Valentines Day - 14 February, and raked in Rs 18.70 crore on the first day itself.
