Parineeti Chopra has been practicing endlessly for the Saina Nehwal biopic and even made a stadium in Navi Mumbai her temporary residence to train regularly. However, the actor has now suffered a neck injury as she prepared for her role as the badminton champion.

She took to Instagram to share a picture of her injury and said that she’ll take rest for a few days before resuming shooting. “Dude. Me and the entire team of Saina have been taking so much care that I shouldn't get an injury, but shit happens. Will rest it as much as I can before I can start playing badminton again. #SainaNehwalBiopic,” she wrote.

The Ishaqzaade actor has about 30 days of shoot left for the biopic, and she shared a picture with Saina Nehwal on Thursday. She wrote, “30 more days to be her ... and live her!!”

Parineeti recently wrapped up shooting for The Girl on the Train remake, and will be voicing a character in Disney’s Frozen 2. Releasing on 22 November, the film will see sisters Parineeti and Priyanka unite for the first time as the two voice the characters of Anna and Elsa.

“You don’t need to be an actor to dream of being a Disney princess!! While dubbing we would keep laughing about the fact that we are actually like our characters in real life. Mimi didi is totally like Elsa and I am like Anna. This is why this movie will always be special. I can't wait for the audience response,” said Parineeti.
