Recently, Pakistani singer Ali Zafar, who was accused of sexual harassment in 2018 by artist Meesha Shafi, broke down on television while talking about the issue. After Meesha Shafi, who had released a statement on Twitter, other women also spoke up against Ali Zafar.

In the short clip from the show ‘Naya Pakistan’ that surfaced on Twitter, Ali Zafar can be seen wiping his face full of tears and saying that he has been silently suffering for very long. He also accused Meesha Shafi of launching a social media campaign against him to sabotage his career.

“All of us have been quietly suffering for so long. Not just me, but my family - my kids and my wife too. I haven’t said a single word in the last one year as I had decided to take action legally through court’s procedures. But they have been making fake accounts and tagging everyone who tries to hire me in tweets against me in order to ruin my career”, said the singer in Hindi on the show.
