2. Salman’s 2019 Eid Release: Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’

Continuing the tradition of releasing his films on the festive occasion of Eid, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan has blocked the auspicious date for his 2019 release titled, Bharat.

The film that is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film, Ode to My Fatherwhich depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man.

3. Nawaz Is Obviously Exploiting Our Past to Sell His Book: Niharika

In an explosive excerpt from his memoir, Nawaz and his co-author Rituparna Chatterjee have penned the night when Nawaz went to Niharika’s house and he was floored by her beauty and that night they made passionate love. But Niharika is horrified at the relationship being publicly exhibited.

“Nawaz and I had a brief relationship in 2009 during the making of Miss Lovely, that lasted less than a few months. So today when he paints me as a woman in fur enticing him into her bedroom with candles, or desperately calling him and mailing other women on his behalf, I can only laugh.”

4. ‘Veere Di Wedding’ First Look: The Girls Are Gunning for Gorgeous

Kareena Kapoor’s comeback film Veere Di Wedding’s first look is out and it is nothing short of gorgeous. It shows the Veere girls - all with their faces half hidden - in wedding finery. The colourful poster shows Sonam and Kareena Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar look stunning as they dress up.

5. ‘Firangi’ Trailer: A Lot More Promising Than Kapil Sharma’s Debut

The trailer of Kapil Sharma’s upcoming film Firangi promises to be a big improvement over his last flick Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. At least this one seems to have a story! Set in India’s British past, Firangi revolves around a character named Manga, who serves the British raj and is of the opinion that colonialism is not all evil. He’s a simpleton and goes on about his daily life unaware of the politics around him. Then comes Ishita Dutta as his love interest. Her father refuses Manga’s proposal for his daughter because of his loyalties towards the British crown, something his entire village is frowning upon.
