Deepika Padukone is the second Indian celebrity to feature in Vogue’s 73 questions video series after Priyanka Chopra. The actor was recently filmed at her hotel in NewYork where she answered questions on everything from the emoji she uses the most to cinema to her thoughts on feminism. The video also revealed some interesting nuggets of information about the Padmaavat actor. For example, she was born in Denmark and can speak six languages!

When asked about her work, Deepika revealed that Padmaavat was her most challenging film and Cocktail had been a turning point in her career. While Mr India is her favourite flick, she wishes she could have played a role in Titanic opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. She is currently filming for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak.
Deepika also got candid about her choice to speak out publicly about her depression calling it “liberating”. When asked what feminism means to her, she promptly replied, “Equality,” and acknowledged that while India is making progress on that front, we still have a long way to go.
Deepika features on the cover of April issue of Vogue, which profiles 14 stars from around the globe, alongside Avenger’s star Scarlett Johansson and Korean actor Bae Doona.
