Kapil Sharma’s ‘Wedding Crasher’ Days
Comedian-actor-producer Kapil Sharma, who will marry his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on 12 December, has opened up about attending weddings during his college days just to eat good food.
He made an appearance on the show Indian Idol 10 where he spoke about his college days when he gate-crashed weddings with his friends in Delhi, read a statement. Kapil said: "During our college days, my friends and I used to go to weddings to eat good food. Once we got caught red-handed by an uncle. My friend made up a story saying that the food in our college mess got over and that we didn't have anything to eat.
Although we had eaten the food by that time, uncle insisted on eating and dancing. We had twice the amount of food. Then we danced also. This is one experience I can never forget."
Comedic Actor Rajpal Yadav Sentenced to Prison
The Delhi High Court has sentenced actor Rajpal Yadav to three months of civil prison for failing to repay a Rs 5 crore loan which he and his wife had taken in 2010 to fund his film Ata Pata Laapata. He was taken into custody by the Delhi Police after the verdict was delivered.
The actor is known for his comedic roles in Bollywood films such as Hungama, Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhoothnath.

Arjun Kapoor-Starrer 'Panipat' Goes on Floors
Arjun Kapoor has confirmed on social media that shooting has commenced for Ashutosh Gowariker’s period film Panipat.
The film follows the historic Third Battle of Panipat, which was fought between the Marathas and Afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali’s invading army. Arjun Kapoor will reportedly be playing the role of Maratha army commander Sadashiv Rao Bhau. The film will also star Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, Mohnish Bahl and Kunal Kapoor. It is expected to release in December 2019.

Ranbir Kapoor Kicks off ‘Shamshera’ Shoot Tomorrow
Yash Raj Films’ next big adventure flick, Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt will kick off its shoot tomorrow in Mumbai.
A puja in the tradition of Yash Chopra was held for Shamshera and attended by Ranbir, Vaani Kapoor, who stars opposite him and director Karan Malhotra. Shamshera sees Ranbir return to the YRF fold after 9 years. The film has release date set for 31 July 2020.
Kangana’s ‘Manikarnika’ Faces Trouble Over Non-Payment of Dues
Makers of Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi are yet to clear dues of approximately Rs 1.5 crore to the workers and junior artists, according to Federation of Western India Cine Employees.
The film, which is due to be released on 25 January 25 2019, is currently under post-production. The makers have been shooting some portions of the film at Filmcity in suburban Mumbai. The shoot was halted, Wednesday afternoon mid-way because of non-payment of dues of workers, technicians and junior artists.
