The advertisement that Kartik Aaryan did last month was for a hair removal cream called Veet. He is shown playing two characters, Harry and Hairy. Since Harry has the “ideal” body type with hairless chest, he is able to date more girls and is lucky as compared to Hairy, who is not “desirable.” The advertisement has also been posted on YouTube with the hashtag #FindYourSexy.

The Instagram account has also criticised the advertisement for being “Problematic, tone deaf, 2000-late version of masculinity and misleading too.”

Many users have also called out the actor for resorting to fake abs.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Pati, Patni Aur Woh, also starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
