The Bollywood fraternity braved the rains and paid their last respects to veteran actor, Shashi Kapoor on Tuesday morning when he was cremated with state honours at the Santacruz crematorium.

But they are continuing to post their reminiscences on social media. Some of the Kapoors seem to have dissembled the pangs of their broken hearts with fond memories.

Karisma Kapoor shared a picture on Instagram where she is seen peering over Shashi Kapoor’s shoulder to direct his attention to something or to possibly click a selfie.

The picture was apparently clicked at the ceremony held to honour Randhir Kapoor's Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which he received in 2015. Karisma Kapoor’s father, Randhir Kapoor is Shashi Kapoor's nephew.

While referring to him as ‘Shashi Uncle’, this is the moment she chose to relive with her remembrance.

Shashi Kapoor essayed the younger version of brother Raj Kapoor's characters in movies like Awaara and Aag. Neetu Kapoor shared a picture of the old photograph documenting this fact and paid a tribute to him. A younger Shashi Kapoor looks pensively at his father Prithviraj Kapoor in the image.
