After tying the knot in a secret ceremony last September, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin made things official for a second time on Monday, 30 September, at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. The couple exchanged vows in the presence of family members, including Hailey’s sister Alaia Baldwin and cousin Ireland Baldwin, who served as bridesmaids, her father Stephen Baldwin and uncle Alec Baldwin, and Justin Bieber’s parents Pattie Mallette and Jeremy Bieber. Model Kendall Jenner and Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun were among the celebrities on the guest list.
A day before the wedding, the couple held a rehearsal dinner for close friends and family on the property. The event was held at the edge of the water and guests were ferried by water taxi. Hailey wore a custom-made, white Vivienne Westwood dress with Jimmy Choo heels and statement jewellery for the evening.
Justin and Hailey had a low-key wedding in New York after Justin proposed in July 2018. In March this year, Justin announced he was taking a hiatus from touring to look after his mental health. He took to Instagram to share a note about his struggle with depression and dealing with the fame from a young age. “I started doing pretty heavy drugs at 19 and abused all of my relationships. I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and I was hiding behind a shell of a person that I had become. I felt like I could never turn it around. It’s taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships, and change relationship habits,” he wrote. However, he credited Hailey with helping him lead a healthier lifestyle.
