Ever since news reports of the nuptials of the actor and the Indian Cricket team captain in Italy, came to the fore, there have been many speculations about details from the venue to the guest list. There have been no official confirmations. Everyone, who could be in the know has been tightlipped about the situation.
Jacqueline was asked how she’d like to congratulate the couple. The actor accidentally did the happy dance at the Lux Golden Rose Awards and said, “I am so so excited. I think it is an amazing news. I am really happy for Anushka and Virat. I can’t wait for it,” while the likes of Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor avoided the ‘Anushka-Virat wedding’ questions.
Sushant Singh sarcastically replied to a journalist, “I don’t know (laughs). This is a really good news. Thank you for informing me. I want to congratulate them. One is among my favourite actors and the other is one of my favourite cricketers. So, for me, it is double joy.”
Bhumi Pednekar said, “Well if it is true, then congratulations. They are quite a power couple. They are amazing individually and together.”
Soon after, Jacqueline realised that she had made a boo-boo and her face had the embarrassed look that acknowledged the foot-in-the-mouth situation she had landed herself in!
