Rickshaw Hits Jacquline Fernandez’s Car, Both Parties Safe

The incident took place when the actor was returning from a party at Salman Khan’s house.

Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez escaped unhurt after her car was hit by an autorickshaw, allegedly driven by a drunk driver at Bandra in Mumbai on Saturday morning. Both parties have escaped unhurt. Jacqueline released a statement confirming the incident.

The 32-year-old actor from Sri Lanka was returning home around 2.45 a.m. from Race 3 co-star Salman Khan's residence after attending a party. The accident took place on Carter Road.

“Yes, it did take place. The rickshaw driver was drunk. We will soon give out an official statement. Yes, we are fine. Police came and sorted it out.”

According to a report in The Indian Express,

As soon as Jacqueline’s car exited Salman’s residence, a rickshaw with inebriated men started tailing her car. The rickshaw tried coming too close to the actress’ car and lost control colliding with the side of Jacqueline’s car. The incident has left Jacqueline’s car window smashed.

Her car suffered minor damage but she did not suffer any injury. The police were summoned. “The rickshaw driver along with a couple of guys were not in their senses. In an attempt to get too close to Jacqueline’s car they lost control and banged into her car,” added the onlookers, as per the report in The Indian Express.

Directed by Remo D'Souza, Race 3 features Salman, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem and is likely to be released during Eid.
