Saif Wanted Me to Set an Example for Mothers: Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena and Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania turn heads at the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ trailer launch.

Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania looked gorgeous as ever at the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding. And these girls made some interesting comments. As Veere Di Wedding will be Kareena’s first film after having a baby, she revealed why she signed this project as her comeback film.

“I’m very lucky to have a husband who is so understanding, apart from my producer, Rhea, who has stood by me. I signed this film before I got pregnant. I called her up a few months later to tell her I am pregnant and she should take someone else. I think the fact that they decided that they will still go with me and even though it was very difficult, it was Rhea’s conviction... all of them have been so supportive towards me. After them, it was Saif who kind of pushed me. He said that, ‘I think you should hit the gym and get back to the studio, take your son with you and set an example to other mothers’.”

Sonam Kapoor on the other hand insisted on keeping mum about her own rumoured upcoming nuptials.
