At a Filmfare press conference held on 12 March, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh responded to this statement by Amitabh Bachchan. The former got nostalgic and spoke about his grandmother. As a child, when Ranveer Singh would sit glued to the television, his grandmother would fondly tell him that one day when he grows up he must become like Amitabh Bachchan. Singh then bestowed the title of ‘GOAT’ on Bachchan. GOAT is a millennial slang which stands for ‘Greatest of all time’.

In February, Singh had also shared a picture of a hand-written note sent to him by the superstar himself.
