It has not been long since Indian rapper and singer Taran Kaur Dhillon, also known as Hard Kaur, was booked for sedition. Now, she is back in news for a video in which she has openly come out in support of the Khalistan movement and has also posted a video with Khalistan supporters.

In the video, they are seen challenging PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. “You’ll not be able to silence Taran Kaur, she’ll raise her voice again. Amit Shah, it is very easy to stand and speak in the Parliament, since the government, police and law, everything is under you. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, this is for you. On 15 August, we’ll hoist our Khalistani flag in 15 nations. Stop us if you can legally.”

“Amit Shah and Modi and all other politicians, you all use people for your personal agenda. Come and fight me. Being a girl, I challenge you. Stop doing these girly things, like sedition charges, rape threats, death threats. What is the meaning of threatening my family, my fans. ”

After Kaur was booked for sedition two months ago for social media posts against RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP CM Yogi Adityanath, the singer has posted a few pro-Khalistan videos on social media, and begun advocating the secessionist “Referendum 2020” campaign, headed by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), demand Khalistan - a separate land for the Sikhs.

Hard Kaur’s present Instagram profile reads:
HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST SFJ
Hard Kaur Brigade Khalistan
#hardkaurbrigade
Referendum2020-To Free Punjab from Indian Occupation

On 18 June, she posted a photo of CM Yogi Adityanath referring to him as ‘Rapeman Yogi’. “If this guy was a superhero his name would be-rapeman yogi. You call him when you want your sisters, mothers, daughters raped. National hero. I personally call him #orangerapeman#indiastandup,” she wrote.
