The untimely and sudden demise of the legendary Indian cinema star Sridevi has cast a pall of gloom on B-Town. She was accorded a funeral with state honours. As the film fraternity is still reeling from the loss of the icon, Holi was a muted affair this year with only a few celebs taking to social media to wish the others. While Ranveer Singh hosted a Holi bash for American lyricist-singer Pharrell Williams of the ‘Happy’ fame, Saqib Saleem and Huma Qureshi attended the Holi Zoom Party.

While the duo posed enthusiastically against a vibrant autorickshaw, Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh created a swirl of colours in the air.

Celebrities like Bipasha Basu stepped out of the city to get away from the chaos of this festival colours. She was spotted at the airport.

Hema Malini was spotted outside Esha Deol’s house with a dash of colour smeared across her forehead.

Amitabh Bachchan shared snaps of the holika ceremony at home, where Jaya, Aishwarya, Shweta, and little Aaradhya joined him. Abhishek Bachchan, who is marking a new beginning on this festive day, started his shoot for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan today. He took to Twitter to wish his fans.

Parineeti Chopra was also seen at the airport in a basic leather jacket but looking not-so-basic. Daisy Shah pulled of the pastel breezy airport look with flair. Arjun Kapoor was also spotted making his way out of the manic city.

Twinkle Khanna advocated a harassment, animal cruelty and water-free Holi on Twitter. while Akshay Kumar urged his fans to be kind to animals. Sohal Ali Khan also posted a similar message on Twitter.
