Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh sealed the deal and got married in a traditional Chitrapur Saraswat-style ceremony on 14 November followed by a Sindhi Anand Karaj ceremony on 15 November. Fans waited with bated breath to get a glimpse of the couple as bride and groom, who were fiercely private about their ceremonies. The couple took to social media to post some more pictures from both the ceremonies after the first batch of images.
And finally Ranveer did seem to don a ghagra.

The proud designer Sabysachi too shared an image of the resplendent couple.
Deepika’s outfit also carried the words, ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ in the Devnagri script.

According to reports Deepika and Ranveer got engaged on Tuesday in a traditional Konkani Phool Muddi ceremony and the wedding is expected to take place today. As per an insider, Ranveer Singh went down on his knees to ask for Deepika’s hand. He also made an emotional speech professing his love for Deepika which made her all teary eyed. Ranveer then hugged Deepika and the couple exchanged rings soon after. The ring ceremony was attended by 40 guests, and this was followed by a sit down dinner. There was also Bollywood music to which the guests grooved to at the party which followed. Ranveer apparently performed to his song Tu Ne Maari Entry... from the film Gunday for Deepika.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur had shared a photo of herself from the wedding venue at Lake Como on Instagram, but she had to delete it soon after because of the strict ‘no pictures’ policy that all the guests have been requested to follow.
