Celebrities and sportsmen have reached out to show their support for Keaton Jones, a young middle schooler from Tennessee, US whose video on how he’s bullied at school has gone viral. His mother, Kimberley Jones, posted a video on 8 December where Keaton - in tears- talks about how his classmates make fun of his looks and tell him he has no friends, and smear him with food.

“Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What’s the point of it? Why do they find joy in taking innocent people and find a way to be mean to them? It’s not OK.”

The video has had more than 18 million views, and a crowdsourcing page for Keaton’s future education raised more than $29,000.

Celebrities like Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Snoop Dogg and others have reached out on social media to send words of encouragement to Keaton. Evans and Ruffalo even asked him if he would like to attend the premiere of their film Avengers: Infinity War.

A great gesture no doubt that will hopefully, drive Keaton’s bullies away.
