4. Jiah Khan Case: HC Green Lights Trial Against Sooraj Pancholi
The Bombay High Court today directed a lower court to proceed with the trial against actor Sooraj Pancholi, accused of abetting the suicide of his actor girlfriend Jiah Khan in 2013.
A division bench of Justices R M Savant and Sandeep Shinde was hearing a petition filed by Jiah's mother Rabia Khan seeking appointment of advocate Dinesh Tiwari as special public prosecutor in the matter.

The Kapoor khandaan of Bollywood was seen enjoying some family time in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. Actor Ranbir Kapoor was spotted with his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, niece Samara, and parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. The family was spotted by the shutterbugs outside a high-end restaurant.
Ranbir, who is known for cracking jokes and teasing people, was spotted teasing his niece Samara, clearly a favourite with her uncle. Riddhima and her daughter Samara are reportedly in Mumbai to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi.
