As leading actor Aamir Khan clocked in his 54th birthday on Thursday, Bollywood was only too happy to post their sweet messages for the man they call ‘Mr Perfectionist’.
From Madhuri Dixit Nene, who jokingly accused him of playing a prank on her while shooting for Dil, to his Rang De Basanti director Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra to Thugs of Hindostan co-star Katrina Kaif - all took to social media to wish the actor, who announced on Thursday that he would be starring in the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ iconic Forrest Gump. The Hindi adaptation will be called Lal Singh Chadha.
Khan invited the media to his house while he celebrated his birthday with wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao and the rest of his family.
Internationally acclaimed female wrestler, Geeta Phogat, on whom Aamir’s film Dangal was based, also took to Twitter to wish the actor on his birthday.
Leading South Indian actor and politician, Kamal Haasan also extended his wishes to Aamir.
Aamir was last seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
