Fire Accident at Bachchan’s Diwali Party, SRK Comes to Rescue 

A small fire broke out during the party.

On 27 October, Amitabh Bachchan hosted a grand Diwali party at his residence in Juhu. Unfortunately, the celebratory occasion was dampened because of an accident. During the Diwali bash at Jalsa, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager Archana Sadanand’s lehenga caught fire, reported mid-day. Her lehenga came in contact with a diya.

According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan, who was attending the party with his wife Gauri, noticed the fire and came to Archana’s rescue. He rushed towards her and tried to put out the fire with the use of his jacket. This incident occurred in the courtyard.

Archana was then taken to and admitted in Nanavati Hospital. She was admitted after the party, in the wee hours of Monday. She is currently in the ICU ward of the hospital. She has reportedly sustained 15 percent burns on her hands and right leg. Shah Rukh Khan has also suffered minor burn injuries.

Archana Sadanand has represented Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for more than a decade.

Sources told the newspaper that Archana is recuperating. She is being able to walk around inside the ICU. She is in the care of Dr Devyani B Venkat, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

Filmmaker Farah Khan took to Twitter to commend Shah Rukh Khan for his efforts. She wrote, “@iamsrk mohabbatman to the rescue! Praying for Archana’s speedy recovery”

The Diwali bash at Amitabh Bachchan’s house was attended by many celebrities, including the Ambanis, Anil Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar and more.
