Anushka Sharma turns a year older and while she spends some quality time with hubby Virat Kohli, the actress also made a special announcement. The actor took to Twitter to speak about the protection of animals. Anushka plans to contribute to this goal by setting up an animal shelter outside Mumbai as a home for animals.
The Pari star issued a statement in which she expressed the need to act kindly towards animals who are in despair.
We all know about Anushka’s love for animals. Her biggest influence has been her own dog, Dude.
In the past as well, Anushka has done a great deal to spread awareness about animal rights. Anushka has given up non vegetarian food. From talking about noise pollution during Diwali to feeding birds during the summer heart, she has always done her bit to protect animals.
This time, she takes yet another big step towards animal rights and we cannot be prouder.
