Amitabh Bachchan is known for many things. One of them being his great love for luxury cars. However, this time, instead of adding one to his collection, the Bollywood superstar seems to have gotten rid of one of his prized possessions. Bachchan has reportedly sold his Rolls Royce Phantom. He received the luxury vehicle as a symbol of appreciation as it was a gift from Indian filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra when the duo worked on the Bollywood film Eklavya: The Royal Guard. In 2007, when the car was first purchased, it cost Rs 3.5 crore.
The person at the other end of the transaction seems to be a question mark. Sold for an undisclosed amount, the car was bought by a businessman whose identity is shrouded in mystery.
Amitabh Bachchan has many such luxurious vehicles, including a Range Rover, a Lexus SUV, a Bentley GT, and more. He is often spotted driving in the city.
On the work front, Bachchan is all set to appear in upcoming thriller film Badla, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
