The Alia Bhatt & Varun Dhawan-starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania turned five years old on Thursday, 11 July, the two became nostalgic and recalled their shooting days on Instagram.
Alia shared a picture of her ans Varun from the film on her Instagram Stories and wrote: "Can't believe it's been five years. Best crew, best people and the beginning of the Dulhania journey. Too much love." Take a look.
Reminiscing his journey, Varun shared he was nervous when film was about to release.
"Five years of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. I remember how nervous I was when this film was releasing. Had the best," Varun wrote on his Instagram Story along with a picture of himself carrying Alia on his shoulders.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, 2014’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania performed well at the box office. Three years later in 2017 it was followed by a sequel Badrinath Ki Dulhania with the same cast and crew returning.
Alia and Varun were last seen together in Dharma’s major dud Kalank. Alia has Brahmastra with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and dad Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 coming up. Varun will next be seen in the dance flick Street Dancer 3D opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
