Rumours of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt moving in together have been doing the rounds ever since news of Alia buying a second flat in Mumbai’s neighbourhood of Juhu broke in January.
Alia has finally set the record straight and revealed the real reason she purchased the property. In an interview with an online portal, she said that the flat is to serve as an office space for her new production house which she has christened Eternal Sunshine Productions. “I’ll produce the kind of films that I like watching,” she said.
As for her plans to move out of her current home, Alia says, “Firstly, I bought this home where I live very close to my parent’s home so that I could be close to my parents and sister. I wouldn’t like that to change. Secondly, I built my home brick by brick all my own. Every piece of furniture in the house every knickknack is selected personally by me. This is where I live. This is my home. That won’t change.”
