On Thursday, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan celebrated his 54th birthday by holding a press conference with his wife Kiran Rao. Apart from holding a small cake-cutting ceremony for the media, he also announced his upcoming film Lal Singh Chadha, which will be a remake of the Hollywood hit Forest Gump. Khan also took the opportunity to respond to Kangana Ranaut’s accusatory comments about how he didn’t support her film.
After the release of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Ranaut accused many Bollywood celebrities of not attending her film’s screenings. To this, Aamir Khan responded by saying he wasn’t aware that Ranaut was upset with him. He further added that he would ask her when he meets her.
“She is upset with me? Why? She never told me, but I’ll ask her when I meet her”, said Aamir Khan at the media event.
Earlier Ranaut had also targeted Alia Bhatt. To which the latter responded saying, “I definitely don’t have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really really respect her for that. And maybe in a way she is right that sometimes we do hold back. Kyunki hum nahi chahte ke, khamakha kyun bolna... My dad always says that there are already so many opinions in the world that the world could do with one less opinion. So, I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. But kudos to her because she genuinely speaks really well”.
