It has been a great year for Ayushmann Khurrana, with AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho setting the box office on fire and also winning laurels from audiences and critics alike. Now his wife Tahira - a writer who was recently diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment is all set to make her feature directorial debut. She will be directing a slice-of-life drama and has reportedly roped in Madhuri Dixit as the protagonist. According to a report in Filmfare, the film will revolve around the relationship between a mother and daughter and the actor playing the daughter has not been finalised yet.

In August Tahira had announced that she would be tying up with Atul Kasbekar, Tanuj Garg and T-seires, but an official announcement about this particular film has not been made.
