Taapsee Pannu is collaborating with director Anubhav Sinha yet again for his upcoming movie Thappad. The film is said to tackle the issue of domestic violence. Taapsee shared a photo from the sets of the film, wherein she is seen engrossed in a conversation with Anubhav. “It’s gonna be difficult .... very difficult...,” she wrote.
The interesting thing, however, is Anurag Kashyap’s comment to her post. “Good he is preparing you for me. Please thank him,” he wrote.
To which Taapsee replied, “Ya ya this film totally looks like a warm-up for yours... esp with the colleague chemistry.”
For those who might have forgotten, Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap are teaming up after Manmarziyaan for a supernatural thriller. Earlier this year, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the news. The yet to be titled film is supposed to go on floors later this year and is scheduled for a 2020 release.
Earlier, Taapsee had shared the first behind-the-scenes look from Thappad. “When a man denies the power of women, he is denying his own subconscious. - Amrita Pritam. Moving from one Amrita to the other..... Main tenu pher milangi.... in theatres from 6th of March 2020”
The cast of the film is currently shooting in Uttar Pradesh, which will release on 6 March next year.
