Formerly called Kizie Aur Manny, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Dil Bechara will release in theatres on 29 November. The film, which also features newcomer Sanjana Sanghi, is a Bollywood adaptation of the popular novel The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. The original story traces the life of a young girl suffering from cancer, who meets a boy at a support group and falls in love with him.
The film’s director Mukesh Chhabra, a Bollywood casting agent, recently found himself at the centre of a controversy after being accused of sexual harassment in October last year. Star India had released a statement announcing that the producers Fox Star Studio had suspended Chhabra pending an investigation by its Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
