‘Prasthanam’ Teaser: Sanjay Schemes in Gritty Political Drama

After revealing his character in KGF Chapter 2, Sanjay Dutt had another treat for fans with the release of the teaser for his upcoming film Prasthanam, a political drama based on the 2010 Telugu film of the same name. It has been directed by Deva Katta, who also helmed the original, and produced by Sanjay S Dutt Productions. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal, Chunky Pandey, Satyajeet Dubey and Amyra Dastur.

The teaser opens with the lines, “Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, cheenoge toh Mahabharat (If you give us our right, it will be the Ramayan; if you snatch it from us, it will be the Mahabharat).” Set in a contemporary political family, the film deals with the themes of power, greed, morality and desire.

Speaking about the film, producer Maanyata Dutt said, "We are proud to have Prasthanam as our first Hindi presentation under our banner. The film is an intense thrilling drama, whose essence will resonate with Indian audiences. The teaser which will be unveiled today is our gift to Sanju's fans and thank them for their tremendous love and support through his journey."

Prasthanam releases on 20 September.
