Salman’s next film titled Tubelight has been in the news for quite sometime now, whether it be for the film’s rights or its release. Recently, the makers finally announced the date for the film’s first look. According to an interview with DNA, Kabir Khan revealed that we would get to see the film’s trailer in May.
We are first going to release the teaser which will be out by the end of April and that will be followed by the trailer in May. People ask me why we are releasing the trailer so late. I’m one of those people who doesn’t believe in those extended periods of marketing but only closer to the release.Kabir Khan, Director
Speaking of profuse marketing strategies that exists these days, Kabir also said he didn’t believe in “going berserk”. He thought if people were made aware of the date of a release, it was more than enough.
Kabir also revealed that the film’s heroine, Zhu Zhu will be in town for a few days for the promotion of the film.
Tubelight is a film based on the Indo-China war in 1962. It is slated to release on 23 June on the occasion of Eid.
