Priyanka Chopra stars opposite Khan in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. PeeCee will be teaming up with Salman on the big screen after a gap of 11 years, after their last appearance in God Tussi Great Ho in 2008. The film also features Tabu, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover.

Salman’s character is reportedly set to go through many physiological changes that will be depicted on screen. The film will ostensibly portray Salman ageing from approximately 17 to 65. Khan has steered clear of prosthetics since they aggravate his neurological condition. But this film may have him consider the prospect for the sake of authenticity.

Produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel life Production Pvt ltd and Bhushan Kumar's TSeries, Bharat is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
