It’s D-day for Salman Khan and his fans as his much awaited and ambitious film, Bharat, co-starring Katrina Kaif, hits theatres on 5 June to coincide with Eid festivities. While we hear there’s an embargo on putting out reviews of the film before 10.30 am, we caught a few early reactions on social media.
It looks like the only insider who has been exempt from the embargo is film trade expert Taran Adarsh. In a brief reaction to the film, Taran tweeted that Bharat is “an emotional journey that wins you over” and went on to call Salman Khan “exceptional”.
While Taran has rated the film with 4 stars, here are some other early reactions from insiders to filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s latest big budget drama.
Bharat is reportedly releasing across a huge 4,500 screens in India. This is also Bollywood’s biggest ever release in UAE in over 121 locations and in Australia in over 75 locations. Bharat will also be the first Salman Khan film to have a day and date release in Saudi Arabia. Apart from India, Bharat will release across 70 countries worldwide.
