Ever since Salman Khan-starrer Inshallah had been shelved, speculations were rife as to what the actor’s Eid release will be. Putting all the rumours to rest, Salman finally released the poster of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, to be released on Eid 2020.
The actor took to Twitter to release a motion poster of Dabangg 3, which eventually turns into the poster for Radhe. He wrote, “Aap he ne poocha tha 'Dabangg 3' ke baad kya? What and when? Yeh lo answer #EidRadheKi.” After Wanted and Dabangg 3, this will be the third time Salman will be directed by Prabhudeva.
The motion poster begins by saying that Dabangg 3 will show the story behind Chulbul Pandey, and goes on to say, “Hum aapke saath Christmas bhi manayenge aur Eid bhi (We’ll celebrate both Christmas and Eid with you).” From the looks of it, Radhe looks like the sequel of the 2009 Salman starrer Wanted, in which his character was named Radhe.
Earlier, Salman had dropped a hint that he would release a film on Eid 2020 despite Inshallah getting pushed. Salman had tweeted, “Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi (Don’t think so much about me. I reside in your hearts..and also arrive on Eid),” followed by a wink emoji.
The tweet seemed to borrow from Salman’s famous dialogue uttered by him in Kick. Fans had speculated then that the tweet implied that Inshallah will be replaced by Kick 2 instead.
