Just when you thought that the awards season is done and dusted, here comes another one of those shows. But this one carries the promise of being distinct since the first ever News18 REEL Movie Awards seek to recognise and reward new age cinema. These awards also acknowledge the spurt in the number of non-studio movies/OTT platforms, professionals creating "new age" content.
The awards bridge the gap between ‘popular’ and ‘critics’ choice’ accolades.
