Ranbir shares a glimpse of what the Kapoor clan is really like on a typical weekend.

We always meet every Saturday, at my grand-mother’s house, my entire family. It starts off with a lot of love and lot of warmth, but there is always a fight. It is always resolved by the end of the day. The person has to call the other person or send him a gift.

So what’s Ranbir’s real-life dad like?

My dad was not around much because he was working (when we were kids), but whenever he was here, he made sure we would go for dinner at least once a week. In the car I remember, I used to really look forward to a quiz my father used to play with my sister and me. It could be on general knowledge, it could be some thing about us. Usually it used to be about food or something. We really used to look forward to that and have bets on who’s going to win.

Ranbir also talks about what annoys him the most about his sister Riddhima.

My sister is very particular about things. She never sat on the table while I was eating, lunch or dinner, because If I made a sound while eating, she used to get irritated. My dad forced her to sit next to me and I would purposely chew the food louder because it got to her.

Ranbir’s clearly big on family and so he says is Jagga Jasoos. Anurag Basu’s fantasy musical hits theatres on July 14.
