Superstar Salman Khan’s Race 3 has not only been widely criticised by critics, but also ranks among the worst rated Hindi films on IMDB. According to the most recent ratings from the website, the film has a rating of 2.6/10, the same as Akshay Kumar’s Tees Maar Khan (2010).
The only Hindi movies ranked below Race 3 are Kya Kool Hain Hum (2.4), Humshakals (2.1), Himmatwala (2) and at the very bottom, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag (1.9).
Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in major roles. Interestingly, having released over the Eid weekend, the film went on to become the highest Bollywood opener and second highest weekend opener of 2018.
The film’s total collections so far are Rs 280 crore, according to Times of India.
While trade expert Taran Adarsh feels that Race 3 has underperformed, I wonder how much more the fifth worst rated Bollywood film can earn at the box office!
