Priyanka Chopra will be back in India next month to shoot a song for her upcoming Hindi film The Sky is Pink in Mumbai, according to reports. Farhan Akhtar who plays Priyanka’s husband and Zaira Waseem who plays her daughter in the film will also join her for the song. Of course, PeeCee is expected to attend the Cannes Film Festival before then.
The song is expected to be a fun number that will appear in the middle of the film and is crucial to the narrative, a source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror.
“Composed by Pritam and written by Gulzar, it will be shot in a five-day schedule beginning June 6. Shonali, who is in the middle of post-production, has been working on the song for a few weeks now.”Source
The Sky is Pink is meant to be Priyanka’s comeback to Bollywood films ever since she broke out in Hollywood with the TV show Quantico. Her last Indian role was Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal back in 2016.Pr
Priyanka kicked off the the shoot for TSIP in August last year by sharing a picture with the entire team, including director Shonali Bose and producers Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala.

The Sky is Pink is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and later became a motivational speaker. The film is expected to premiere later this year.
