Priyanka Chopra might have walked out of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, thanks to her engagement to Nick Jonas. But she is still working on the other Bollywood film she had signed, The Sky is Pink. Also starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, the film will be directed by Shonali Bose and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under his home banner Roy Kapur Films.
The shoot of the film, which will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, London and Andaman, just kicked off and an excited Priyanka shared the news on social media.
Farhan also took to social media to share the news.
The Sky is Pink is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder at the age of 13. Roy Kapur Films shared a video of the actors and crew prepping up for the shoot:
Shonali has previously directed films like Amu and Margarita with a Straw. She even produced the 2012 film Chittagong.
Meanwhile, the world is going into a tizzy over Priyanka’s engagement to Nick. Stay tuned for more!
