Vishal Bhardwaj took to Twitter to introduce one of the characters of his upcoming film Pataakha. The character poster depicts Dipper Narad Muni essayed by comedian, Sunil Grover. Based on Charan Singh Pathik’s short story Do Behnein, Vishal Bhardwaj’s dramedy, Patakha features Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan as two sparring sisters.
The quote on the poster promises a quirky character.
Narada is a Vedic sage who appears in Mahabharata, Ramayana and other mythological tales. His diplomatic skills make for his strong suit.
The film revolves around two sisters, Badki and Chhutki, incessantly at loggerheads, who grow up in a small village in Rajasthan but realise what they mean to each other when they are separated after marriage. Sanya Malhotra made her debut with Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
The promo of the film is set to release on 15 August.
Other characters were unveiled too.
The film is slated to hit screens on 28 September.
