The makers of The Girl on The Train remake starring Parineeti Chopra released the first look from the film and it has Parineeti giving us the chills in her scared and wounded look.
The Jabariya Jodi actor also took to Twitter to share the pictures and wrote, “Something I’ve never done before. And the most difficult character I have ever played in my life.”
The makers, Reliance Entertainment also shared the first look on Twitter.
According to reports, director Ribhu Dasgupta said that Parineeti has prepared well for her role. They have chosen a colour palette of black, grey, brown and deep green for her with a lot of focus on her body language and dialogue delivery.
The still from the film, where she is sitting wounded in a bathtub, is a crucial scene in the movie. The director said, “The narrative will really surprise you. We have been shooting for 16 hours a day, for the last 15-20 days and Parineeti has a lot of talent to offer.”
Recently, Kirti Kulhari also joined the cast of the film on sets and shared a picture with Parineeti.
Based on the 2015 bestseller by Paula Hawkins, The Girl on the Train narrates the story of a woman who gets entangled in a missing persons investigation that throws her life into disarray. The psychological thriller is backed by Reliance Entertainment. Kesari actor Parineeti Chopra will step into Emily Blunt’s role in the Hindi version.
