Rajkummar Rao plays the dreaded British-born Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh in the Hansal Mehta directorial Omerta. Sheikh has been accused of being involved in the 1994 kidnappings of foreign nationals in India, having a hand in the 9/11 attack, and plotting the 2002 murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. In the first poster we saw Rao engrossed in prayer.

The second one unveils a brazen Rajkummar Rao getting out of the jeep with an unperturbed smile. Shot in real locations across London and India, Hansal Mehta's Omertà exposes the real and present danger of Pakistan sponsored terror. It comes across as a layered and unflinching character study.

‘My first as an anti-hero and exhausting as an actor. To feel the hate towards another human-being without any remorse can take quite a toll. It took me a while to shed this character.”
Rajkummar Rao

The film releases on 20 April.
