Gandhis Return With Neil Nitin & Supriya Vinod in ‘Indu Sarkar’

In Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming Indu Sarkar, Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing Sanjay Gandhi, Indira Gandhi’s son. Neil has given his nod to play the pivotal role alongside Supriya Vinod, who would be essaying the role of Indira.

Neil shared a poster of the film on social media and his resemblance to Sanjay Gandhi is quite uncanny. Check out the poster here:

This is one of the most challenging roles I have ever essayed and this project has been very close to my heart. I have put in a lot of research into my character which is quite different form the characters I have essayed previously.

The film is about a stammering poetess and is set against the backdrop of emergency imposed during Indira Gandhi’s government.

The film stars also stars Kirti Kulhari, popular Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles and is set to release on 28 July.
