1. Vinod Khanna’s Family Emotional Over Dadasaheb Phalke Award
It was an overwhelming moment for Vinod Khanna's family members, who were in Delhi to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award on behalf of the late actor. The prestigious honour was conferred posthumously, at the 65th National Film Awards.
Vinod Khanna's wife Kavita was accompanied by son and actor Akshaye at the Vigyan Bhawan to receive the honour. Ahead of the ceremony, Akshaye said, "It is very humbling as a son to be receiving this on his behalf. It's a very proud and emotional moment for all of us."

2. CBFC Cuts out Nude Scene From Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Omerta’
Omerta, a gruesome true tale of criminal mastermind, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh played by Rajkummar Rao captures the journey of a radical and hardened criminal committing atrocities in the name of religion.
Director Hansal Mehta had earlier admitted that he knew getting through the censor board would not have been a cakewalk with the film, which is inspired by the life of a real-life terrorist.
Originally slated to release on 20 April, the film’s release was earlier deferred due to the Central Board of Film Certification's clearance process.

3. Swindler Posing as Salman Khan’s Bro-In-Law Aayush Sharma, Nabbed
The fact that people are blinded by the mere names of stars is enough to prove the sway of B-Town in India. A 27-year-old real estate agent from Kalyan was nabbed by the Mumbai Crime Branch Cyber Cell for posing as Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and luring people by offering film roles or promising admission to their children in Dhirubhai Ambani International School, in exchange for money.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the man named Harshal Sudhakar Bhalerao ran a Facebook account by the name of Salman Khan’s sister Arpita’s husband.

4. Gajendra Singh Files Case Against Prasar Bharti Over Reality Show
Trouble seems to be brewing in the television industry as two big names have been locked in a bitter dispute since last few months and now the matter is being fought out in the court. Mumbai based production house Saai Baba Telefilms have filed a case against Prasar Bharti (Broadcasting Corporation of India) under Section 11 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
Saaibaba Telefilms had entered into a contract with Prasar Bharti in April 2017 for sourcing of content on Prime time with DD National Network. The production house headed by Gajendra Singh of Sa Re Ga Ma and Antakshari fame were supposed to launch their new programmes Suron Ka Eklavya which was a singing reality show and the other one MBA Sarpanch a daily soap. Both the shows were the part of DD National revamp programme.

5. IPL 2018: Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma Arrive In Mumbai
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night. The last IPL match ended on a happy note as Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Mumbai Indians on 1 May in Bengaluru, which also happened to be Anushka Sharma’s 30th birthday. RCB next take on the Chennai Super Kings on 5 May at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Anushka has be spotted cheering Virat and his team from the stands during the IPL series. The actor is scheduled to leave for the US soon to complete shooting for her film Zero co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
