Manushi Chhillar to Debut in Akshay’s Prithviraj Chauhan Biopic

The film will mark former Miss world’s foray into Bollywood.

Miss World in India are known for eventually making their foray into Bollywood. So why should it be any different for Manushi Chhillar who won the pageant in 2017?

According to a report by online publication Pinkvilla, Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. Apparently, she has been signed on the Prithviraj Chauhan biopic in which Akshay will be playing the lead role. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Prithviraj Chauhan was a former Indian king.

Manushi will be making her big Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar. She has been signed on for the Prithviraj Chauhan biopic that is expected to go on floors sometime towards the later half of this year. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the historical drama and YRF is producing it.
A source said to Pinkvilla

According to the source, Manushi will be playing the role of Sanyukta opposite Kesari actor Akshay Kumar. “Aditya Chopra feels she has a good screen presence and has also got her on board as one of the talents under his banner,” said the source. They also added that Manushi is a great performer and has become a national craze.

Dedicated as she is, Manushi has already started prepping for her role in the period film. She has been discovering literature so that she can understand the era better. She has also enrolled herself in acting and dance workshops.

The Prithviraj Chauhan biopic is expected to be an epic love story and a grand production overall.

Earlier there were rumours that Farah Khan might be launching Manushi Chhillar. However, those were untrue.
