Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari to Direct Biopic on Sudha Murthy
Panga director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is set to produce and direct a film based on the life of Infosys chairperson Sudha Murthy. She announced the news on Instagram writing, “I keep dreaming that eventually I would want to lead a life like Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy. The life choices. Their honest life with integrity is my biggest inspiration. I am filled with humble gratitude to make Murthy. They have trusted me with their iconic story and i can only pray that I keep up to their expectations. This is more than a film. This is life.”
SRK Crosses 39 Million Followers on Twitter
Shah Rukh Khan thanked his fans for their love and positivity after he crossed 39 million followers on Twitter. The 53-year-old actor expressed gratitude toward his tribe on the microblogging site. “Keep the love flowing. Keep the positivity multiplying. Keep yourself happy... always. Everything is as beautiful as you want to see it. Love you all,” Shah Rukh wrote, alongside a selfie.
Kerala HC Serves Notice to Mohanlal in Ivory Case
The Kerala High Court on Tuesday served a notice to superstar Mohanlal on a petition that the permission granted to him to keep elephant tusks should be cancelled. The Chief Justice S. Manikumar after hearing the petition filed by a former Forest Service official ordered the notice to be served to the superstar and posted the case for further hearing after two weeks.
The case first surfaced in 2011, following an income tax raid at the superstar's home in Kochi, when it came to light that he was in possession of elephant tusks and the Forest department took up the case. This issue has now surfaced in the High Court, after the Forest department filed their chargesheet against the superstar in the case in September at the Perumbavoor CJM Court.
